WorldHaus, a new project from Idealab and entrepreneur Daniel Gross, addresses the massive lack of affordable housing for 1.5 billion people in the developing world. WorldHaus hopes to bring to market a breakthrough kit home that puts clean, safe, electrified housing within reach of millions of families around the world. The company was recently selected as a finalist in a competition to attend the 2011 Unreasonable Institute along with other social entrepreneurs. This video was created to explain WorldHaus and help the company be one of the first to raise the $8000 required to attend.
