Robert Kavner has been a Director since January 1999 and previously served as President, Idealab Silicon Valley from March 2000 to March 2001. From 1997 to 1999, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of On Command Corporation, the leading supplier of video on demand systems to the lodging industry. Prior to moving to California in 1994, Mr. Kavner served as Executive Vice President of AT&T, where he also served as Chief Financial Officer for several years before being promoted to Chief Executive Officer of AT&T's Multimedia Products and Services Group. Additionally, Mr. Kavner was a member of the AT&T Executive Committee. During the 18 years prior to joining AT&T in 1984, he was a General Partner at Coopers & Lybrand and chairman of the firm's information industry practice. Mr. Kavner currently serves on the boards of directors of numerous companies including EarthLink Networks, Ironport Systems, Shop.com and Pandora Media, and serves as Chairman of the Board for Earthlink and Ironport Systems. He previously served as Chairman of the Board of Overture Services, Inc. and was a member of the boards of directors of FleetBoston Financial, Tandem Computers, Sun Microsystems, Duracell International and Philips Telecommunications. Mr. Kavner received his B.A. in Business Management from Adelphi University.
